Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain at the bottom of my rib cage on my back on my right side. It’s a dull ache that I have had for quite a while. Comes and goes. I have no appendix or gallbladder and have had my stomach stapled. I have also had hernia surgery, but they said I didn’t have a hernia, yet often I get a painful bulge under my right front rib cage.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. As you prescribe it and excluding the surgeries you did the pain should come from kidney disease. You may be having an infection or stone. Do a urine analysis and an ultrasound. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
