What Does Pain In The Lower Abdomen Along With Headaches And Fatigue Indicate?

My fiance 52 yrs young has had pain in abdomen..lower back..headaches..fatigue. Cypro was given to her and has seemed to provide temporary relief..but after a couple of months it starts all over again..has been ongoing for about 2-3 yrs. Had a total hysterectomy 4mths ago and thought maybe this would be a solution, but the same symptoms have returned once again. We are scared and frustrated with medical tests that have been negative and wonder now now if she might have endometriosis or lyme disease. thank you . Greg Nesbitt at YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is most likely that pain doesn't come from reproductive organs.
I can suspect kidney stones and kidney tumors. Her doctor may perform her a kidney ultrasound.
Or maybe irritable bowel syndrome or ulcerative colitis if she has any changes in defecation. A colonoscopy may be done if considered helpful by her doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
I find this answer helpful
