What Does Pain On The Right Side Of The Rib Cage Indicate?

Hi , I have moderate pain on the right side in my back at the bottom of my rib cage ,closer to my back bone . The pain doesn’t start until early afternoon and get worse as the day goes on . It is worse when I,m sitting. I always drink plenty of water. Any type of pain reliever I.ve taken has not worked. I haven,t worked out for almost three weeks and symptoms are getting worse . Can you help?
