What Does Pain On The Roof Of The Mouth Indicate?

Yesterday, I woke up with pain in roof of mouth yesterday morning. Pain then moved to chest and I had difficulty with breathing. I went to Urent Care and doctor thinks it is Pleuritis. X-rays revealed clear chest and no enlargement to heart. Doctor prescribed steroids but wanted me to wait two days prior to taking medicine because of concerns symptoms could be blood clot in lungs and meds would mass symptoms. Prior to leaving Urgent Care, I was having jaw pain and numbness around lips and Doctor thought it was just symptoms of me being nervous. Now, I have pain in upper stomach, lower ribs, and lower back and still having difficulty with breathing.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It looks like you have a viral infection with all these symptoms. It is difficult to be revealed in X-rays. For now take Ibuprofen tablets to release symptoms and Ranital for stomach pain. If the symptoms continue after 2 days, contact again with your doctor.

Best regards!
