Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had gallbladder removed 6 days ago. Aching pain in right side under ribcage for 4 months led to tests resulting in this surgery. Prior to the surgery I had horrible fatigue and body temp of 97.1. Incisions are healing. I still have that aching, burning pain in my side. Day of surgery, blood tests revealed low hemoglobin (not sure of #). I am still fatigued and temp is at 96.3 currently. Have a follow up with doctor next week but curious if I should be concerned until then.
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. No need to worry for this aching pain in right side under rib cage. This pain is mostly due to healing of surgical Scar. Yoi recently undergone surgery for gall bladder removal. So some degree of pain is commonly seen till 1 month from now surgery. Better not to pay attention to this kind of pain. It will gradually go away after 1 month. Don't worry, you will be alright. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
