What Does Pain Under The Rib Cage On The Right Side Indicate?

Hello, My case is that I stoll plenty of bright red fresh blood. Ii usually comes when i feel pain under the right rib cage. I normally get this pain when i get very hungry and dont eat on time or when i drink a bottle of beer. Before now, when i start stooling plenty of blood, it may stay for like 5 days and subside thereafter for maybe 6 weeks before i feel it again. but this time, I have been stooling plenty and i mean plenty of fresh redttblood withf just a small amout of feaces coulpled with pain in my back right chest . what could be the cause please advice. I have been having this problem for about 11 years now

We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to have urgent gastroenterologist review and have stool analysis done as well as may need upper GI endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy too if stool contains fresh blood. Source of bleeding needs to be worked up and controlled. Using antacids like Omeprazole before meals meanwhile can help. Ultrasound abdomen and workup of liver cirrhosis as well as chest X-ray for right-sided pain needs to be evaluated.
