What Does Pain Under The Toes Indicate?

i have an area on the bottom o my foot just under the toes that hurts. feels like about a dime sized area and pain gets more intense with pressure. resemble the pain when I had bruised my heel bone. didn t do anything specific to injure it. walking without shoes on hardwoods is painful.
