What Does Painful Lump On Neck Of A 7 Year Old Indicate?

Hi.My 7 Year Old Son has swelling in his neck on the rt side and it is somewhat painful to him as well.All his Blood Reports like CBC came out to be normal and also the TB test came as Negative.Now What could be the reason for this soft lump.Our doctor has advised us to wait for 5 days.

Moreover without any other manifestations like prolonged fever or weight loss or loss of appetite, I think your doctor is probably right, but i suggest you wait not only for 5 days as it is going to take longer time.
