What Does Parenchymal Hemorrhage In The MRI Report Suggest?
No acute infarct, parenchymal hemorrhage, focal mass, edema and enhancing intracranial lesion. Nonspecific white matter bright signals in both fronto-parietal lobes Chronic lacunar infarcts, right caudate head and left cerebellum. What does this mean as the result of the MRI? THanks.
Nonspecific white matter bright signals in both fronto-parietal lobes may be due to many reasons like microvascular ischemic disease of the brain result from involvement of small blood vessels, demyeliantion etc.
Most likely reason in your case is ischemia because there are chronic small infarct in right caudate head and left cerebellum. Ischemic changes results from blood vessels changes in diseases like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia. So,you need monitoring of conditions that leads to ischemic changes like hypertension, altered lipid profile, diabetes mellitus so that further progression of disease can be halted. You need investigations like routine hemogram,RBS,LFT,RFT,Lipid profile, ultrasound of abdomen.
Other findings are normal. There is no hemorrhage in brain,no tumour etc.
