What Does Persistent Pain In The Right Hip Indicate?

I am having persistent pain in my right hip. It has gotten to the point to affect my gait. I had intermittent issues earlier on, but I am concerned that my triple-negative breast cancer (diagnosed and surgically removed two years ago via bi-laterel mastectomy, and subsequent chemo) is an issue. My oncologist has told me that mastasization to the bones is common, if it occurs at all. I have approximately two months before my next visit, but I am wondering why there are no follow-up scans, or tests indicated for triple-negative breast cancer. It seems to be the most dangerous type.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Of course you should have a follow up plan with scan and ultrasound determined by your doctor.
Also your plan should include the tumoral marcers.
You should do an abdominal ultrasound to check for metastasis in colon or other abdominal organs that cause the issue.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
