What Does Popping Sensation In Ear Drum While Taking Amoxicillin Leading To Sharp Pain Mean?

Hi there, my right ear drum is "Popped" as my GP describes at a check up. Saying it is red, and healing. Yet, whenever i breath I clearly hear myself through that ear. Even when i talk as well. I am on antibiotics. Amoxicillin. Which I have been on for a few days. The ear itself has been like this for around 3 weeks. Started with a sharp pain, then the dullness of hearing, and a weird sensation of pressure along with a very quiet ringing sound only audible in the quiet.. I am 18, 6ft2. With no medical history in my ears.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern the history that you gave here is suggestive of some allergic constitution and because of this the Eustachian tube being affected or it could be block and this could give such sound of popping, but this is nothing to worry you can try steam inhalation and antihistamine drug and the best drug is "Levocetrizine 10 mg three times in day. take care and have a nice day.
