What Does Presence Of Candida Species In Urine Test Suggest?
Hi. I'm in my 7month of pregnancy and recently had urine test and swabs. The result cam back as trichomonas viganialis neg, epithelial cells ++ white blood cells +/- gram stain not suggestive and candida ***+++ Candida sp. isolated ** ... what does this mean?
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having fungal infection in urine. Many times due to contamination of sampld candida is isolated. I suggest you to send repeat urine culture. If this is also showing candida than you are surely having fungal infection. Local hygiene is very important for fungal infection. You may need antifungal drugs. So consult your doctor and discuss these things.
