My 15 yr old daughter went for her yearly check up and her abdomen was hard. After an x-Ray the doctor said she has a sizable mass (25-30 my). Located more closely towards her stomach. She has had no symptoms other than ocassional constipation. She is not sexually active, never has been. Her mother and aunt have a history of ovarian cysts that are usually painful. She also has a grandfather that passed due to non-hodgkins lymphoma. We are among her for a CT scan today. Please tell me what the best and worst case scenario s are and what to look for on the CT scan?
