Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, a friend of mine feels (30-38 years old, female) that there is wind inside her body and it s running about almost in all parts of her body. She couldn t get any answers from the doctor. Do you have any idea what kind of disease is that? Thank you!
I am happy to hear that you are taking care of your friend.
I am sorry that she is not getting answers for her health problems (feeling wind inside her body) from your doctors.
I believe they have run a lot of tests, without finding anything organic. Then, we should stop in 2 main other things:
- use of illicit drugs
- psychological problems.
Get her consulting with a psychiatrist first.
Run some tests to rule out if she is not using any illicit drug.
Then, psychotherapy could be an excellent help to her.
Hormonal changes (pre-menopause syndrome) also can effect her psychologically with wind inside her body.
Hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any other concern related to your friend's health.
