What Does Pus Discharge From A Wound On Leg Indicate?

I scraped my leg on a big rock and it took a layer of skin off. I ve been applying Neosporin to it and letting it airdry. The wound dried out, but it looked kind of red so I put some more Neosporin on it, and now it s oozing a little pus. Should I stop putting it on my wound and continue to let it air out?

it is infected wound. asceptic dressing and cleaning with sterile gauge is to be done.better get it examined by doctor for examination and advise on treatment. in place of neosporine can use beta dine lotion. have to take inj tt.
