What Does "Myometrium Appear Mildly Hetrogenous In Echotexture" Mean?
THe TVS Ultrasound was done and the result got was as follows :- Uterus - Anteverted, measures 6 x 4.42 x 4.67 cm, bulky. Myometrium appear mildly hetrogenous in echotexture. Endometrial wall is 5.2 mm in thickness. What does it mean ? Is anything serious.
Mildly heterogeneous uterine echotexture may be due to many reasons like adenomyosis etc. It is important to know age and symptoms of patient. If patient is asymptomatic then only follow upon scan is required. If patient is having symptoms then further investigations should like hysteroscopy should be done.Biopsy can be done if needed.
Rest of the findings are normal.
