What Does "TLC Count 25220" Mean?
Dear sir my father went for a routine blood check up and report says TLC count 25220 what does this mean is there anything serious. My father ages 65 yrs he never remains sick or any rashes on the body although been taking thyroid medicine. sometimes he has joint pain on right knee but that might be frm age factor plz guide

hi..welcome to healthcare magic..TLC count is high. this may be due to some underlying infection. there are other causes as well. what is the DC(differential count)? get a peripheral smear examination done. joint pain may be not be related to this. but you may have to rule joint infection as well. consult a physician if you are still worried. all the best.
