What Does "diffuse Disc Bulge With Lefty Paracentral" Mean?
i am 29 year old i have abit pain at back followed by left foot numbness on MRI it revels
diffuse disc bulge with lefty paracentral -foraminal protusion at L5-S1 level indenting the thecal sac with narrowing of bilaterl neural foramina and effacing the lefty existing nerve root .
diffuse disc bnulge at L4-5 level indenting the thecal sac with narrowing of bilaterl neural foramina
Hi, This means that Intervertebral disc has prolapsed at L4-5 & L5-S1 levels. The disc is bulged in the left side thus compressing the left side of thecal sac and nerve root. Thus you wil have predominantly Left sided symptoms(i.e. backache radiating to left lower limb and foot) with numbness probably in L5 & S1 dermatome ( since L5 & S1 root is compressed.)
