i have extremely irregular cycle i Had a postive prgnancy test on 20th Nov and a Scan on the 21st which shown a yolk and sac but no embryo. I had a repeat scan yesterday which shown a embryo measuring 3.9mm but no heart beat what does this mean?

According to the reports, there is a fetal pole (embryo) in the uterus measuring 3.9 mm but there is no heart beat.You should have follow up scan after 10 days.
Absent heart beat may be due to early fetal age.Trans vaginal sonography will improve the sensitiveness for heart beat.It is a sign of live fetus.
