What Does "mild Cerebral Volume Loss And Proportional Ventricular Enlargement" Mean?
My mother is 76 years old. She recently underwent an mri of her brain due to shuffling gait, expressive aphasia, laughing at inappropriate times, forgetfulness. Her mri showed mild cerebral volume loss and proportional ventricular enlargement. What exactly does this mean?? Does she have Alzheimer's disease? ? Thank you. Sincerely, Dorothy A Martisofski - former RN
