What Does "prominent Bronchovascular Markings Bilaterally Rest NAD" In Chest X-ray Indicate?
I am 29 years old and have had chronic dry cough over the past 10 days. I have taken a course of Azithromycin, Levocetrizine, Grinlinctus initially. My cough worsened and My blood counts (Eosinphils) were Normal. The doctor told me it s post-infective cough and treated me with nebulisation with ipratropium. My cough has come down but yesterday i started having fever 100 deg and phlegm production. My doctor advised a Chest Xray which shows "prominent bronchovascular markings bilaterally, rest NAD". I am feeling weak.
Bilateral prominent broncho vascular markings may be due to inflammation, infection like bronchitis, age related changes etc. You needed nebulisation probably because of spasm in chest. You are getting right treatment and you should continue it. You should avoid dust and smoke.
Get well soon. Hope I have answered your question.
