What Does "thickened Endometrium Of Uterus" On USG Suggest?
uterus normal in size measuring 7.7 x 5.4 x 4.0 cm -- Endometrium is thickned 7 mm -- no evidence of any myometrial infiltration. both ovaries could not be visulaized. Visualised bowel loops including rectum appear normal; Bladder is normally distended with uniform wall thickness. No distal ureteric dilatation. No abonoramality noted in the lumbo-sacral junciton; Visualized muscle and bones of the Pelvis appear normal -- Impression: Thickned endometrium -- Patient is having bleeding for more than 15 days.
As per Pap Smear test --
Shows plenty of parabasal cells, a few intermediatae
cells and scant inflamatory cells with a few endocevical cells and a few cells with enlarged nuclei ? ASCUS
what is your suggestion whether to go to tissue test. or better to remove uterus.
Patient Age 51 - Last delivery on 22.12.1992. and first one on 03.03.1991 -- underwent ceasarian on both account and family planning operation done on 22.12.1992
