Hello,

You are suffering from random bruising on the body. You also have pain in the heels. Bruising occurs commonly due to low blood platelets, blood clotting disorders, inflammation in the blood vessels and vitamin C deficiency. It may also be caused by medical conditions like diabetes, low blood platelets, bleeding disorder, hemophilia A and B, Von Willebrand disease which is an inherited bleeding disorder.

Nutrient deficiency like deficiency of vitamin C, K, iron may trigger bruising. People who are prone to easy bruise should be careful while doing physical activities to prevent injuries that could lead to bruises. Wear protective gear while you play sports or engage in other activities. Bruise pain can be relieved by applying cold compress.

Get clinically examined by a GP, get tests and investigations done to detect the medical condition that may be causing you symptoms. Get treated. To reduce pain and inflammation take acetaminophen (Tylenol), one SOS when required. Avoid addictions if any. Keep rooms and passages well lit. Wear proper shoes, keep furniture's at proper places so that you don't bump on them.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
