What Does Recurring Fever, Sore Throat, Ear Ache And Sinus Pressure In A Child Mean?
Hello, my 5 year old daughter has been sick almost a month now. She has ran 102 -103 temp more days than not but when she is not she is down around 98. Complains for a sore throat, ear ache, sinus pressure, headache, stomache and leg ache. I have had her in the Urgant Care twice and they have tested for strep...negitive, urine track infect.....negitive so they always shruge and diagnose with a fever... can you help?
By what you say it could be recurrent viral illness or recurrent otitis media. If it is only fever - I would not have worried. But recurrent otitis media or ear infection needs attention. I suggest working up for IgA deficiency.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
