my tests for typhoid show the following:
salmonella typhi O) = 1:40
salmonella typh H) =1:160
Salmonella paratyphi AO) = Negative
Salmonella paratyphi BO) =Negative
Salmonella paratyphi CO) = 1:20
Salmonella paratyphi AH) = Negative
What is the diagnosis?
salmonella typhi O) = 1:40
salmonella typh H) =1:160

You have positive widal test.You are suffering from typhoid fever.
Single value of salmonella O or H antigen titer values equal to or greater than 1: 160 is considered as positive.
Salmonella typhi H is positive in your case.
However four fold increase in titration is confirmatory.
You should take tablet cefixime 200 mg twice daily for seven days.
For fever,you can take tablet paracetamol 500 mg thrice daily if temperature is > 100 degree Farenheight.
