What Does Sharp Pain In The Left Shoulder Indicate?
hello, I am experiencing constant sharp pain in my left shoulder going to my left breast. And when i am coughing i still feel the pain. I sleep most of the time on my left side and i can sleep long hours without changing the position. So I was thinking that I put a lot weight on my left side. Now I am wondering if it is not sign of heart attack or breast issues. Please can you help me on that. Thanks.
I understand your problem. Constant pain in left shoulder is not due to heart attack or breast issue. Still I suggest you for an ECG. As we should not avoid any minor possibility of heart attack. Consult a physician and do the following investigations .Blood pressure measurement, ECG, X ray left shoulder (before doing x ray an orthopedic surgeon can tell you the problem with clinical examination whether it is muscle sprain or spasm or any ligament problem).
Don't worry. As per the history given by you chances of myocardial Infarction are less. You did not mention about chest pain.
Hope this will help you.
Thank you
