Hello my husband and i were having intercourse and out of nowhere i got a sharp pain in my vagina and we stopped but now i feel like i have to poop but when i try it hurts really bad like my whole colon/vagina area;( cpuld it have anything to do with my iud? Pleasee nedd help!

Pain during intercourse can happen often but also If you have sharp vaginal pain during intercourse it might be due to local trauma. It should be getting better but if not you will need to have a gynecological visit. The gynecological visit might also see the localization of IUD. If it is dislocated and moved in the vagina instead of being in the uterus it might be a cause or trauma during intercourse. So it is good to verify that IUD is in the uterus and also a gynae visit to check the vagina would be a good help to find the cause of the pain.
