What Does Sharp Pain On The Right Side Of The Rib Cage Indicate?

For the last few days, the right side of my rib cage has been having sharp stabbing like pains. The Arthritis in my back is hurting a lot more than usual. I vomited a couple of nights ago. I had been constipated for a few days. So I started taking Milk of Amnesia and started having diarrhea after starting to take the Milk of Amnesia. My throat doesn t hurt, my jaw doesn t hurt. But I feel like something is stuck in the middle of my throat, like it might be food that I just ate and wasn t able to swallow it all the way. What could be going on? Should I get it checked out? Could it be Strep Throat?
