What Does Slightly Exaggerated Lumbar Lordosis Mean?
What does it mean when the x-ray result findings indicate there is a slightly exaggerated lumbar lordosis. No fracture, subluxation, or bone erosion is seen. Diffuse disc space narrowing with mild narrowing at L2-3, moderate narrowing at L3-4, minimal narrowing at L4-5 & moderate narrowing at L5-S1. There is evidence of mild facet arthropathy at L4-5 & L5-S1. There is partial visualization of a thoracic scoliosis. Impression: Degenerative disc & facet disease as noted. Thoracic scoliosis.
The narrated report of lumbar lordosis on x-ray of lumbar spine indicates age related changes rather than any other grave pathology. However, a co relation with the underlying symptoms is of paramount importance to guide further precisely. In majority of the cases: Analgesic spray Anti inflammatory medicines Control of weight Assisted physiotherapy help great.
