What Does 'small Hypoechoic Area Measuring 1.7*1.3 Cm In Fundal Region'mean?

Doctor my age is 47.Due to heavy bleeding on last friday 22nd of feb , my doctor told me to do Sonograpgy of Pelvis and started medicine course..As per sonography result they found small hypoechoic area measuring 1.7 X1.3 cm in fundal region ? fibroid..So I ask you Doctor is this a serious ? should I get cancer in future? Still my bleeding never get stop.Since last Thursday it was strated.Now today is 6th day.The medicine I took as per Doctor name is Draco-D , Trapic.and Iron tablets.
Please Doctor help me.

HI.
This is a fibroid , but a symptomatic one , means giving bleeding. It looks to be intrauterine projecting causing more bleeding.
Now-a-days one can go for laparoscopic removal of fibroid, wherein the uterus is not removed. Or you can go for hysterectomy.
