there is suspicious density in the right apex. Heart is enlarged with left ventricular prominence. Pulmonary vascularity is normal. Diaphragm is sharp. bony thorax is intact. Impression: suspicious right apical densiy; suggest apicogram. what does this mean?
hello, This is x-ray report where one finds there are some white shadows in right upper Field of the x ray. It usually suggest some infection, it may be past or may ongoing. So if having any symptoms like fever, cough, sputum then sputum test should be done for bacterial culture as well as tuberculosis like AFB staining and genexpert. Also, cardiomegaly on xray may be artefact or illusion. But it should be confirmed with echocardiography, especially if having any chest pain or shortness of breath or history of heart disease.
