Above left wrist , ligaments are swollen and range of motion is getting better but still limited after a varsity baseball scrimmage last week. A grinding noise can be heard when flexing wrist back and forth in the ligament area on top of wrist from thumb area . We went to urgent care the dr said rest , ice and ibuprofen. General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello,
Wait and watch for a week. Follow the advice given by your doctor. If there is no effect in a week, then you may go for an MRI scan. There is no need for an X-ray.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Varinder Joshi
