hi,my age is 60 yrs,i am male and suffering from gall stone problem,recently i had don CT-Scan of abdomen and it shows irregular thickening of gallblader wall,mass occupy fossa with loss of fat plane between liver and gallblader.No radio opaque QL+ is seen within lumen of gallblader.commonbile duct is not dialated.what does this means?
Thanks for your question in HCM. In my opinion you should consult gastrosurgeon first. Your CT report suggestive of irregular wall with mass lesion. You age is also high (60yrs) so malignancy should ve rule out first. The next best investigation is tumour markers and endoscopic examination of gall bladder and if posdible biopsy from tge mass. For all this you need to consult gastro surgeon.
