What Does The HSG Test Mean About The Fallopian Tubes?
I just got my hsg result and it reads as follows: the right Fallopian tube is outlined with free peritoneal spillage of contrast confirming patency and the left tube is not clearly outline, there is spillage of contrast on the left to suggest tubal patency. Kindly explain
According to HSG report, your right Fallopian tube is patent. There is free spillage of contrast from right side. Left Fallopian tube is not clearly outlined but there is spillage of contrast on the left side which suggest tubal patency. So,it can be considered as normal. Non visualization of left Fallopian tube may be due to technical error. In short, you have almost normal findings. Hope i have answered your query.
