I recently had MRI for neck, mid and low back pain with one of the results as follow: Note is made of what appears to be an atypical hemangioma at T12, without surrounding bone marrow edema or definite corresponding abnormality on plain films. Numerous additional hemangiomas and/or areas of focal fat are present elsewhere in the thoracic and lumbar spine. Could this atypical hemiangioma be causing pain that radiates around from my mid back to the front of my mid-chest?
I read carefully your query and you should not disturb.
Atypical hemangioma at T 12 is a beningn tumor that is normal in many peoples. Hemangioma does not cause pain except in causes when have any interdiscal protrusion.
I hope that I answered you.
