What Does The MRI Scan With Disc Herniation At L5-S1?
My MRI scan shows at the L5-S1 intervertebral level, there is a small right posterior central and subarticular intervertebral disc herniation with some displacement of the proximal right S1 nerve root as it enters the lateral recess. There is also advanced facet joint OA more marked on the left side. What does this mean? Many thanks.

This also affect your s1 nerve root. This is all your MRI report indicate. You should consult spine specialists and take treatment for your didc prolapse.
