Hiii I am 8 weeks prego... on my 7 week I had first ultra sound obst. My baby s growth was only 5 weeks n no heart beats... now my doc has started prolution dept 250 mg... for 6 weeks y is this so... ?? M very much worried n upset with this fact plz guide me...

The cardiac activity on USG is heard from the 6 th week moving forwards. There is supposedly no cardiac activity during the 5th week. Instead of assuming, I think you should ask your doctor why they have started and the reason behind it.
