What Does The Blood Test Result Indicate?
i have done the blood test and wanted to know the below results
1. HSV1+2-IgGAb to HSV,serum test for CLIA is reactive and the value is 14.2. is it dangerous.
2. HSV1+2-IgMAb to HSV,serum test for EIA is negative and the value is 0.48
3. HSV 1 & 2 - western blot(IgG & IgM)
age - 33 and weight is 66

Hello, Thnx to contact us. If I am your treating doctor I would like to advice you that Ig G antibody is present in our body in past infection. You have high IgG that means you have Herpes Simplex Virus Infection previously but Ig M significe recent infection that you have negative. You do not mentioned the Westernblot result of the HSV kindly mention it. But over all your report is negative and you do not have to worry. If you have anything else to ask please contact me. Thanx.
