Hi! Welcome to HCM! During pregnancy the plasma volume increases MORE than the red blood cell volume so the hematocrit decreases, this is not a true decrease in hematocrit but due to hemodilution.Your MCV and MCH are high that may be due to folate deficiency, which is common in pregnancy. You can consult your obstetrician and she will give you folate tablets which are required for neurological growth of foetus hence very essential. Hope this helps!Take care!
