my chest xray shows that there is increased motion artifact on the lateral view. this was repeated twice. there is some increased density in the left midlung field. although this could represent crossing vessels granuloma or nodules cannot be excluded. the heart size is normal . the bony structures are unremarkable. what does this mean in the lame man's understanding i am totally confused?
dear sir; thanks for calling, your chest x ray revealed that you was not quiet stable during the examination so it makes motion artifacts that affects the reading and precise diagnosis, anyway I think it is better to have CT chest to confirm the findings and to reach proper diagnosis for the lung opacity and to exclude the suspected nodules or any other underlying problems. and it may be these suspicious findings due to the artifactes but we need to confirm so CT examination will be helpful and try to keep quiet stable during the exam to avoid any artifacts again. regards, Dr. Ayman Elsifey
