My daughter had a rt frontal lobotomy in 2015, with a stroke during surgery. A recent CAT scan showed encephalomalacia extension to rt front partelol covexity, also an enlargement of cerebral sulci. What does that mean to the layman? Would that dx explain the chronic headaches she has had since the surgery?
Encephalomalacia implies softening of brain tissue due to various reasons. Softening of the brain can lead to motor and sensory changes in the body. I suggest you consult a neurologist.
