General & Family Physician, Dr. Varinder's Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The important sign of pulmonary hypertension is mild pulmonary artery dominance. So your doctor has advised you rightly. You should undergo echocardiography, where right atrial pressure will be studied along with other valve and chamber dimensions.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
