What Does The Following EMG Report Suggest?
Yes please. I had an an EMG test done results stated were minimal active degenerative in left posterior tibials muscle and limbo sacral paraspinal muscles indicates acute left L5 and / or s1 radiculopathy which cannot be localized further. Can you tell me what this means

Hello,
Your having nerve root compression at the level of lumbar spine 5 and sacral level one.
The muscles which supplied by these nerves may be became atrophy and develop weakness.
So the report showing same. So you have to confirm it by MRI spine, nerve conduction study.
If nerve root compression severe may need decompression surgery. Please consult your neurosurgeon he will examine and treat you accordingly.
