What Does The Following LFT Report Findings Indicate?

Dear Sir, Kindly find my LFT Report Readings provided below and provide your views and suggestions whether I am taking right medicines and if yes what should be my diet for early recovery: TOTAL BILIRUBIN: 0.9MG/DL S DIRECT BILIRUBIN: 0.2 MG/DL S INDIRECT BILIRUBIN: 0.7 MG/DL S TOTAL PROTIEN: 7.1 S ALBUMIN : 3.8 S GLOBULIN 3.3 S A/G RATIO: 1.2 SGOT: 26 IU/L SGPT: 62 IU/L S ALKALINE PHOSPATE: 114 (SERUM) HEPATITIS B E ANTIGEN: 0.40 HEPATITIS B E ANTIBODY: 0.010 LFT: Normal HBV VIRAL LOAD BY TAQ MAN: 27 IU/ML I have been taking URSOCOL-300mg. Kindly suggest me proper medicine and diet so that I can cure my liver problem early. Is there any chance to cure this problem permanently.

Hello

Your findings suggest raised SGPT.
High SGPT may indicate liver injury.It may be due to many reasons like hepatitis,alcohol intake,altered lipid profile,medicines,auto immune causes etc.
Other factors like bilirubin,SGOT level etc are normal.

You may need few investigations like routine hemogram,random blood sugar,lipid profile,ultrasound of abdomen.
I also suggest tablet ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg twice daily for three months to my patients.It helps in regeneration of liver cells.So,you are taking right drug.
You may need to take few more medicines after full investigations.
