My husband is waiting for biopsy results from Gastroscopy. Esophageal mucosal changes noted as suspicious. Patulous lower esophageal sphincter noted. Gastritis biopsied. He is 67 years old, Type II uncontrolled diabetes and when he eats his stomach becomes hard, distended and he has never been able to burp. What could we be looking at? I m very worried for him.
