Hello and thank you for using HCM. I carefully read your question and I got through your query. Don't worry, every think is Ok.
The fact that you had undergone
angioplasty classifies you to people with
ischemic heart disease. This fact is very important becouse there are different lipid goals for this category.
So the
lipid profile goal for you is that the LDL opimaly should be below 70 mg/dl. this is the most important fractions of lipids. The HDL or the good
cholesterol should be over 35 mg/dl. Your lipid profile depends whether you are in lipid treatment or not. I suppose you are. Ecospirin is just
aspirin, it does not effect the lipid profile.
So, my opinion as a cardiologist is that you are doing grate with your lipids and that you should continue this way of treating and diet.
Keeping your LDL cholesterol below 70 mg/dl lower nearly 30% the risck for future ischemic heart events. You are in a very good shape, I compliment you and keep gooing so.
Hope I was Helpful. BEST REGARDS.
