What Does The Following Test Result Indicate?
Hi, Your Vitamin D2 level is mildly deficient. In older persons, the skin is not as effective in producing Vitamin D from sunlight. What is your intake of dairy products like? I would like to suggest that you keep a three-day diary of all you eat and drink. Take this to your physician for his/her review. The amount of Vitamin D2 required for treatment is too great to be obtained over-the-counter. Your doctor will write a prescription. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr Arnold Zedd, Pediatrician
