What Does The Following Urine Test Result Show?

my husband suffered bec of back pain so he consult doctor and we took urine test as per doctor suggestion results is Pus Cells : OCCASIONAL and EPITHELIAL CELLS : Occasional . can you pls let me know anything serious what does mean its, why its coming. how to avoid

Thanks for writing to HCM

Your husband's urine analysis report is absolutely normal.Findings are not serious at all.
Up to 5 pus cells are normally found in urine.
Few epithelial cells are also normally found in urine.It generally indicates a contaminated sample if it is occasionally found.

Back pain may be due to many reasons like musculoskeletal cause,disc prolapse,renal calculus etc.He need further evaluation like ultrasound if needed.
