What Does The Following Widal Test Report Suggest?
Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here...widal test report is as under: TO=+ve up to 1:160 TH=+ ve upto1:180 AH=+ ve upto1:160 BH=+ ve upto1:320 Please see to what extent I am suffering from typhoid plz recommend treatment.
However, the interpretation largely depends on the prevalence of typhoid fever in your region.
Since the Widal report is positive, I suggest you get Salmonella typhi Ig M test done which is specific for typhoid fever after consulting your primary health care provider.
If the test is positive, your doctor will prescribe appropriate antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
