What Does The Higher Level Of Beta Hcg In My Report Indicate?

hi i have received a letter saying myscreening for downs syndrome was low but i have higher levels of beta hcg and basically its a hormone produced by the placenta and can indicate the babys growth will slow down towards the end of pregnancy can u explain in a bit more detail as now i am worried thank you kindly

Beta HCG is produced by the placenta of the baby.

This hormone is essential for maintenance of the pregnancy.

If it's level is low along with other hormones being high like estradiol then there's chance of baby being born abnormal.

As you are having enough beta HCG their is nothing to worry as your pregnancy is good supported.

In some mother's who have low beta HCG their is chance of early avortion. So doctors prescribe the HCG supplement to them.

So you should not worry regarding your report. Allay fear and live peaceful pregnancy.

Please start doing some yoga and meditation as it can help you relieve your stress.
